Earlier tonight, I put my little boy in his swing and carressed his foot as he smiled at me until he fell asleep. It was 8PM, and the first time he'd slept since I had gotten home from school at 3. He doesn't like to nap after I come home, he just wants to spend time with me. He wants to crawl all over me, give me hugs and kisses, pull himself up so that he's standing next to me.
Every time I walk in the door coming home from school, Travis immediately starts crying until I pick him up. I love knowing that he misses me while I'm gone, especially because I miss him so much. I'm always speeding home to see my little man.
I put shoes on him for the first time on Saturday. He doesn't really like them, they make his feet clunky and big, and he doesn't know how to move with them. It's too cute though. His right shoe never stays on for longer than five minutes, but he can keep his left shoe on with no problem. Silly boy.
I love Travis's smile. It just melts my heart, and he smiles so much. He's the happiest baby and I just adore him. We have the best days together.
It's these little things that make me realize just how much I have. No matter what happens in life, I have my beautiful little boy that will always be there for me.
