Guest Posters Wanted!

As many of you know, I'm having a baby soon! (Due in exactly 17 days, as a matter of fact!) As much as I'd like to be able to keep up with posting regularly, let's be real. The first month or so is going to take a lot of adjusting, and computer/blog-time might be greatly affected.

As sad as that thought makes me, though, I'm sure with a new baby around, I won't be thinking about it too much, either. But this brings me to the reason I'm writing this:

Why should you guest write for Rainbows & Honeysuckle?

• Because I want you to. :)
• Although I may not have time to generate new content, I will set aside time to link your post to link parties, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest in order to get your post more traffic.
• Hopefully it will also bring your blog more traffic/readers/followers!

What type of posts am I looking for?

• Craft/DIY
• Recipes
• Motherhood/parenting
• Organization
• Kids
• etc.

How do I apply for a guest post?

• E-mail me at rainbowsandhoneysuckle@gmail.com with your idea for a post!
• I have no restrictions with whether it's something you've already posted on your own blog or not.
• I will e-mail you back if I like your idea, then go ahead and e-mail me your entire post with a small blurb about yourself at the bottom!
• Once I start planning out blog posts, I'll let you know what date you can expect yours to appear. :)

What rules apply when guest posting on Rainbows & Honeysuckle?

• Proper grammar and punctuation, please! (I'm an English minor, it's a huge pet peeve.)
• Pictures!! (They do not have to be high quality, trust me, I am no photographer, but they are a requirement!)
• At least 200 words please!
• I have no problems with plugs for anything in your post (such as an Etsy shop or something else that you might want to advertise) as long as it also coincides with what you're writing about.

Applying for a guest post would help me out immensely, and I want to help you out just as much by trying to get you and your post more readers! I will do my best to make it worth it for you, and I'm so excited to see what all of you have to come up with.
