5 for Five

FantasticallyAverage

Here's how I did last week:

1. Finish the ones from last week: Yay!
  • Wash baby clothes and sheets. All done! I was so frustrated though because they were scattered in piles around his room while his dresser was being painted!
  • Figure out how the car seat works. I think we may have gotten it...apparently the police/fire departments in my town are slack and don't do inspections, so I have to figure out a way to get it inspected!
  • Finish cleaning baby's room & paint the dresser. Ended up painting it yellow to match the picture I made. Jon wasn't too happy with my paint choice, but that's what he gets for not coming with me to pick it out!
2. Plan out/draft blog posts for after Travis's arrival. Got so much planned out for the next month almost! Very excited. :)

3. Make a mobile for Travis's room. Everytime I'm out, Jon is always with me, and he hates going to the craft store with me (because I take forever) so I have to find time to go by myself to get my supplies!

4. Work on meal planning. Made a printable for myself. Going to sit down tonight and figure out dinner plans!

5. Have a baby. Sigh, no. :( Not yet.

3/5 (or 5/7) done! Good week. :)

Now for this week!

1. Create a monthly budget. I've been wanting to do this for awhile, our income is just so sporadic and our bills are different every month that it's difficult. But I'm going to do what I can.

2. Go shopping for Jon's birthday! It's next Wednesday, the 23rd, so I need to go pick him up a couple of presents! :)

3. Clean out my purse. Seriously, it is filled with random papers!

4. Get my nails done. My mom gave me a Groupon for a free mani & pedi, so hopefully I can go get that done sometime this week!!

5. Final touches on nursery! I have all of the baby's clothes washed and everything almost all set up! Only problem is, we still have to put one last coat on the dresser, so all of his clothes are currently piled around the room until I can put them away!

Happy Monday everybody! Have a good week!

  1. If you go to cert.safekids.org, there should be a tab or link that says "Find A Tech". There you can type in your zip code and find a Child Passenger Safety Technician to check your seat for you (:
