Here's how I did last week:
1. Wash baby clothes and sheets. Oops...oh well, Travis has stayed in another week, so I have time to get this done! I did start going through some of his clothes, though, getting them ready to wash!
2. Take down the tree and put away Christmas decorations. I got this done first thing this week! I can't stand keeping Christmas decor up after Christmas! The tree and everything has been loooongggg gone!
3. Decorate something for Travis's room. Done! And I am so excited to show you guys!!! (You can see it here!)
4. Figure out how the car seat works. I really need to stop procrastinating on this one...it's one of the most important things!
5. Clean house! Ehh...I'm still in the middle of this one. In my process of cleaning, I tend to make a bigger mess sometimes. I'll finish cleaning soon. :)
So...2.5/5 for the week? Could definitely be better. Although my weekend was extremely productive! Saturday night I cleaned the bathroom and Sunday Jon and I moved the desk out of the baby room, cleaned the kitchen a bit, and I started on organizing the baby's room.
But this week I will get more done! I'm not working as much anymore and will have much more free time as long as baby stays put this week! (But please, Travis, feel free to come as soon as you want. Really. It's okay.)
1. Finish the ones from last week: (I'm putting this under one, because they're really all things that should already have been done, and it's cheating to use them as three different ones!)
2. Plan out/draft blog posts for after Travis's arrival. I'm also looking for guest posters if anyone is interested! Will be making a call for them sometime this week!
3. Make a mobile for Travis's room. I have a cute idea for a mobile that I can't wait to try! Going to place it right above his changing table for maximum diaper changing entertainment.
4. Work on meal planning. I don't meal plan as often as I wish I did, and a lot of that results in us scraping the kitchen for processed food and going out to eat. I rarely cook (although in my tiny kitchen it's kind of a pain in the butt) and I wish we ate homemade food more.
5. Have a baby. Wouldn't that be lovely? :)
Well, let's see how this week goes! Especially number five!

- Wash baby clothes and sheets. I'm already planning on doing this today or tomorrow, so no biggie.
- Figure out how the car seat works. Really really important.
- Finish cleaning baby's room & paint the dresser. That's really the only room that still needs to be cleaned. Progress. :) Also my dad is going to help me paint the baby's dresser blue this week! Yay, so excited!

On busy weeks I swear by my crock pot! Meals to just dump in and let cook always makes homemade so much easier :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your super exciting week!!
Guest blogging sounds so much fun!
Hi there! I'm your newest follower from the GFC hop! Congratulations on being pregnant. Enjoy these last few weeks. My son just turned 8 months old and I missed being pregnant the moment he was born. Good luck on your delivery. Praying all goes well. :)

Hi Chloe, I agree with Dabbling in Dixie! Get yourself a good crockpot cookbook (I like the Fix It and Forget It series)and start choosing some recipes. Nothing like taking 15 minutes of prep in the am and having a delicious aroma in the pm when you're wanting to just crash for a while! Can't wait to meet Travis! Wishing you have an easy, safe and quick delivery!
