Please, if you do this ornament, please think your color scheme through a bit better. Either that, or just have a stronger shaking arm than me. I don't know what it was about the ornaments I used paint in, but they were so hard to shake to get the paint everywhere!
This one really didn't turn out that badly. There's just one area of the ornament that is slightly brown because the red and green paints started to mix when I was trying to streak the ornament. Still looks very Christmasy! :)

I am a sucker for multi-colored or paint streaked/tie dyed-ish anything. I think that's why this ornament is my favorite by far!!

I like how this ornament turned out. I can't see a brown spot at all. Very festive!

These ornaments are fun to make. My children make them with me, and while I've heard people complain of all the required shaking, I wonder if we didn't have that problem because we used smaller glass balls or squirted the paint in several different places. Love it! Easy and fun. My son would love this. (even though they probably ALL look brown lol) I actually went to Hobby Lobby last week and they were already out of clear, plastic ornaments. I so would have done this, this year. Oh well. Maybe next year
ReplyDeleteThat looks great!
